JAMMU, Mar 23: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has assigned additional charge to two senior IAS officers in the interest of administration.

As per an order issued by the General Administration Department, 2002 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Saurabh Bhagat, currently posted as Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, has been given the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Information Technology Department, till Dr Piyush Singla resumes his duties.
Similarly, Sheetal Nanda, the 2006 batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, currently Commissioner Secretary, Forest, Ecology and Environment Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, in addition to her own duties, till Mohammad Aijaz resumes his duties.
