SRINAGAR, June 11: N.N. Vohra, Governor has expressed regret and serious concern after being informed about the unfortunate fire incident which took place two days ago at Pahalgam in which property worth crores of rupees, including the Tourist Reception Centre, was gutted.
Sounding serious concern over such incidents, the Governor has urged the Municipal and District administration and the Fire and Emergency Services Department to urgently commence action to specially inspect all commercial establishments and public premises to ensure the implementation of all required anti-fire measures on a time bound basis.
