JAMMU: Governor N N Vohra today released a brochure on the Amarnath yatra here.
The brochure, listing do’s and don’ts for the intending pilgrims, has been brought out by the Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Tourism Development Cooperative Ltd.
The booklet aims to spread awareness among the yatris about the various aspects of the annual Shri Amarnath Yatra, including the terrain and topography, and the precautions to be taken during the pilgrimage.
This year’s Yatra commences on June 28.
Interacting with nine-member delegation of the JKLTDC, the Governor, who is also the chairman of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, lauded their initiative of bringing out the brochure. (AGENCIES)
