SRINAGAR, Aug 6: N. N. Vohra, Governor today conveyed his condolences to the family of Air Commodre (retd) Jasjit Singh, who passed away the other day.
Recalling his over three decades association with Singh, who served as Director Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses for over a decade and was serving as Director of Centre for Air Power Studies for the past nearly a decade, the Governor paid a glowing tribute to Singh’s valuable contribution to establishing Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses as a notable institution and for his deep insight into strategic affairs, reflected in over two dozen books authored by him.
