JAMMU, Feb 12: Month long activities on the auspicious month of ‘Magh’ culminated here today at Bhagwan Gopinath Ji Ashram.
During this month Vedic mantras were recited along with hymns from other religious books for the welfare of mankind.
Hawan was also organised during these days.
On this occasion many scholars threw light on the importance of the day.
A handout stated that before migration of Kashmir Pandits from the Valley, during the Magh Mass, the community used to assemble at Hari Parbat which is considered as the abode of Mata Chakreshwari.
Now the devotees from KP community throng Bhagwan Gopinath Ji Ashram to pay obeisance on Magh Mass.
