GoM to monitor developments in view of West Asia situation

Dr Jitendra among 16 Ministers in Group

NEW DELHI, Mar 27: In view of the on-going West Asia situation, a Group of Ministers has been constituted to monitor the emerging developments and implication for India.
Highly placed sources told the Excelsior that the GoM will also recommend measures to be taken by the Government of India in wake of the emerging scenario and development.
On the directions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 16 Ministers have been included in this Group.

They include; Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers JP Nadda, Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Minister of Power M L Khattar, Minister Commerce and Industry Piyush Goel, Minister of Science & Technology Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of Ports Shipping and Waterways Sarbanand Sonwal, Minister of Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu, Minister of Consumer Affairs Prahlad Joshi, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwani Vaishnav, Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju, Minister Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardip Singh Puri and Minister of Labour and Employment Mansukh Mandiya.
