KISHTWAR, Feb 2: Lieutenant General PK Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, along with the GOC CIF (Delta), visited Kishtwar area to review the counter-terrorism grid and assess the operational preparedness of Army units deployed in the region.
During the visit, the GOC was briefed on the prevailing security situation and held discussions on strengthening the security framework, improving intelligence sharing, and ensuring better coordination among all agencies to deal with emerging challenges.
Interacting with troops on the ground, he appreciated the Delta Force personnel for their high morale, professionalism, and dedication while operating in difficult terrain, and urged all ranks to remain vigilant, agile, and mission-ready to maintain peace and security in the area.
