JAMMU, July 21: Guru Nabha Dass Samaj Kalyan Parishad (GNDSKP) here today celebrated its 7th Foundation Day and organized a meeting which was presided over by Sansar Chand Karotra, Parishad president whereas Dr. D.K Manyal MLA Ramgarh/chief advisor and patron of Parishad was chief guest.
Performance of Parishad in last six years was explained by Trilok Nath Deol, general secretary.
Sansar Chand apprised about various activities of Parishad like promotion of poor students’ education and redressing other social problems of the community.
On this occasion, all the previous office bearers were re-nominated with Sansar Chand Karotra re-nominated as president; Gopal Dass, Bodh Raj Rao and Khilari Lal Kouran-vice presidents; Trilok Nath Deol, general secretary; Surinder Bhardwaj and Sukhdev Darai, secretaries and Rajesh Bajgal, treasurer. Additional charges were also assigned to these officer bearers.
New nominees were Rakesh Kajotra, organizer; Satish Chandel, coordinator; Vinod Manyal, incharge social media and Harish Balgotra, co- incharge social media.
District bodies of Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Udhampur and Reasi were also framed.
Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by Gopal Dass, vice-president. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks.
Members of core committee and district bodies present on the occasion were Bodh Raj Rao, Khilari Lal Kouran, Rajesh Bajgal, Surinder Lakhnotra, Dr. Dheeraj Lakhnotra, Surinder Bhardwaj, Sukhdev Darai, Jai Pal, Krishan Gopal, Subash Chander, Dr. Shiv Lal Sarmal, Som Raj Kundal, Sudesh Malhotra, Mohinder Kumar, Madan Lal, Suresh Kumar, Puran Manyal, Raghubir Kumar, Verinder Kumar and others.
