JAMMU, Dec 17: Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu organized first ever TEDx Talk in their college campus today.
The college founded a committee for the event headed by Dr Amita Gupta and comprising of Dr Seema Gupta, Dr Rakesh Bahl, Dr Sindhu Sharma and Dr Ashu Jamwal.
Invited speakers included Dr Subhadra Jalali (Opthalmologist), Dr Rajinder Kumar (Psychiatrist), Rashmi Muralidhar (Instructor of Critical Thinking), Abhishek Kaushal (entrepreneur), Dr Aditi Parimoo (Physician) and Dr Aditya Gupta (Pediatrician & Youtuber).
The speakers energized the audience with stories of their lives and motivated them to take challenges head on. RJ Juhie from 92.7 Big FM also addressed the gathering.
Principal of the college Dr Shashi Sudan Sharma also addressed the audience and lauded the students for their immense hard work and vouched to support them in their future endeavours. She also felicitated the guest speakers with mementos.
The event concluded with vote of thanks presented by Rohit and Farheen. The event in its entirety was audio video recorded by Pause Tribe.
