According to hospital authorities, since the introduction of the Scan & Share Queue Management System in the OPD, a total of 29,984 tokens have been generated.
Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad Masoodi, the Medical Superintendent of the Associated Hospital of GMC Baramulla, mentioned that approximately 1,000 tokens are generated per day through the Queue Management system, significantly improving the healthcare visit experience for patients.
Dr. Ruby Reshi, the Principal of GMC Baramulla, highlighted the digital enrollment of all patients through this initiative, which also ensures the preservation of their healthcare records.
She stated, “Currently, we have implemented it in the OPD, but we plan to expand it to other departments such as IPD, lab diagnostics, and pharmacies.”
This innovative system has substantially reduced waiting times for patients. By simply scanning the QR code, the process becomes hassle-free. Dr. Reshi proudly noted, “We are ranked 11th in the country in terms of token generation, and we hold the top position at the UT-level.”
A patient, Malik Abdul Musadiq, shared his positive experience with the Scan & Share system. “When I arrived for a consultation, the OPD was crowded. However, I discovered the Scan & Share, which I used to quickly obtain an OPD ticket. I encourage people to take advantage of this system for their benefit.”
