UDHAMPUR, June 13: An executive body meeting of General Line Teacher’s Forum was held today under the chairmanship of District president Vivek Gupta, for threadbare discussion on the problems being faced generally by the teaching community and particularly by General Line Teachers.
Forum unanimously demanded from the legislators to raise the issue of illegal transfer of Rehbar -e-Taleem teachers against the General Line Teachers (SSRB Teachers) posts which was done by previous Government in large scale, particularly in district Doda, Udhampur, Jammu and Kathua violating the basic fundamentals of SSA Scheme.
The Forum expressed serious concern over the unprecedented delay in release of grants under the NPS, SSA, RMSA and demanded early release of the same so that the teachers and Masters may get their salary. The forum also asked the Government to release Mid Day Meal grants to continue the scheme as the teachers were spending amount on the same from their own pocket.
