KATHUA, Jan 27: The wreath laying ceremony of Kirti Chakra, Sena Medal martyr Capt Sunil Choudhary was organized at Capt Sunil Chowk on his 14th Martyrdom Day here, today.
On the occasion the Army Officers, SSP RC Kotwal, parent of martyr, Ex-Servicemen, and prominent citizens were present. The Army honor was given to Martyr, Capt Sunil and floral tribute was paid to him. While talking to media Martyr’s father Col PL Choudhary said “I am proud of my son who has scarified his life while fighting with ULFA militants in Assam”. He was decorated with Kirti Chakra and Sena Medal . He was son of soil and made the family and the nation to feel proud of him., I salute him and the valour shown by him”, he added.
SSP, RC Kotwal said that such programmes are very motivational for youth to join the belt force and dedicate themselves to nation. He said the youth must learn from the Capt Sunil Choudhary who has attained martyrdom for sake of mother land. The memorial of Capt. Sunil gave inspiration to youth to serve the nation, he added.
