Global Peace Organization conducts picnic for Vridh Ashram inmates

JAMMU, Nov 9: Global Peace Organization here today organized a special picnic for the inmates of Home for the Aged & Infirm (Vridh Ashram), Ambphalla.
The Vridh Ashram inmates were taken to the scenic and refreshing Mansar Lake, where they spent the day enjoying nature, fresh air and meaningful interaction.
The group of elders was accompanied by Vinod Kumar, Manager; Pritam Chand, Warden; Suman Langeh, Superintendent; Dr. R. Thappa, Volunteer Medical Officer and other supporting staff of the Home.
The picnic was planned and organized by Global Peace Organization team consisting Sheikh Altaf Hussain, chairman; Zulfikar Ali Waqui, Executive Director; Manpreet Kour, coordinator; Raja Khan, Liaison Officer and Ifrah Hayat, secretary.
During picnic, the inmates of Vridh Ashram enjoyed the serene views of Mansar Lake, shared stories, engaged in conversations and spent quality time in a warm and caring atmosphere.
Management of the Home for Aged & Infirm expressed gratitude to Global Peace Organization for their kindness and commitment toward the welfare of senior citizens.
