SRINAGAR, May 25: Scores of girl students of Pulwama Degree College today staged a protest against administration over non-settlement of college land dispute.
Reports said the girl students took to streets this morning and blocked Pulwama-Awantipora Highway for traffic. The protesting students were demanding their ‘right to move’ over three kanals of land of college.
The students said due to dispute between administration and a private party they are disallowed to move on the land. The students sought an end to the dispute and said they shouldn’t be made suffer due to the land dispute.
Later, the students ended their protest and dispersed off peacefully from the spot.
