POONCH, Aug 2: A young girl was injured after a bear attacked her at Dhan Miran, in Kharappa area of Loran in Poonch district today.
Official sources and family members said that girl was near her house when a bear suddenly attacked and left her injured. She was taken to PHC Loran and later shifted to District Hospital Poonch for treatment.
Injured girl was identified as Tazeem Akhter (23), daughter of Ahmada Mir, resident of Ward number 6, Panchayat Kharappa in Loran Block.
Medical Superintendent of District Hospital Poonch said that she was having injuries on different parts of body. Affter initial treatment at PHC Loran, she was brought and treated here. Her condition is stable.
