JAMMU, Feb 5: A girl was gang-raped by some unidentified persons in Patoli Brahmana area, falling under the jurisdiction of Domana police station.
As per police sources, a 20-year-old girl hailing from Patoli Brahmana area lodged a complaint with police station stating that five unidentified persons kidnapped and raped her.
She further said that the accused raped her on the directions of Ranjeet Singh, son of Shamsher Singh, a resident of Bandhua Bhagpur area of Domana.
The girl was handed over to family members after completing legal and medical formalities.
Acting over the complaint a case under FIR Number 45/16 under Section 366 and 376 RPC has been registered and manhunt was launched to nab the accused.
