SRINAGAR, Nov 3: One girl died while as yet another is battling for life after consuming poison in separate incidents.
Police said that a 19 years old, girl (name with-held) resident of Ganipora, Kunzer was found in unconscious condition in a public park near Sports Stadium, Tangmarg and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital, Tangmarg by some locals.
“Apparently the girl had consumed some poisonous substance and was referred to SKIMS, Soura-Srinagar, where doctors declared her brought dead. A case has been registered in this regard,” said police.
Police said that a 17 years old, girl (name with-held) resident of Sursuna-Yaripora, Kulgam consumed some poisonous substance at her home and was shifted to Sub-District Hospital, Yaripora for treatment, where from she was referred to SMHS, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
