KATHUA, Oct 3: A 17 year old girl and her cow died after receiving an electric shock of a LT line in Duggar village of Bani tehsil today.
According to police the girl identified as Sushma daughter of Rathia of village Duggar in Bani area was grazing her cow in the area. The cow went near an electric pole where she received the electric shock of a LT Line. The girl unaware of the danger went to rescue her and she too received the shock. Both the girl and cow died on spot. The Bani Police Station has registered case and started investigation as police termed it a negligence of the PDD staff.
The girl will be cremated after postmortem tomorrow.
