Srinagar, Sept 6: Police today said a teenage girl attempted suicide in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
A police spokesman said an 18 year old girl (name withheld) of Maldara village in Zainapora area of the district consumed some poisonous substance at her home.
“The girl has been shifted to SMHS Hospital for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” the spokesman added.
