NEW DELHI, May 8: GHCL Ltd, a chemical manufacturer specialising in soda ash, on Thursday posted a 22.44 per cent rise in standalone net profit to Rs 152.62 crore for the March quarter on lower expenses.
The company reported a net profit of Rs 124.64 crore a year earlier, according to a regulatory filing.
Its total income declined to Rs 807.12 crore in the fourth quarter of 2024-25 fiscal from Rs 839.77 crore in the year-ago period.
However, expenses remained lower at Rs 595.60 crore against Rs 670.25 crore.
For the full 2024-25 fiscal, its net profit declined by 21 per cent to Rs 626.23 crore from Rs 793.55 crore in the previous year.
Headquarters in Noida, GHCL Ltd is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of soda ash, a key industrial chemical used in detergents and other applications. (PTI)
