RS Pura, Dec 22: MLA RS Pura Gharu Ram Bhagat and District Development Council (DDC) member Suchetgarh, Taranjit Singh Tony, today inaugurated road works worth Rs 30 lakh in the area.
A statement said these works include blacktopping of Chakroi Road and patch repair of Gharani Road.
Addressing the gathering, DDC member Taranjit Singh Tony said that all roads in the Suchetgarh constituency will be upgraded in a phased and time-bound manner. He assured that no village or area will be left out of the development process.
“Suchetgarh is moving towards becoming a modern constituency. All pending road works and infrastructure projects will be completed within a fixed timeframe,” Tony said.
He also urged people to keep an eye on the quality of work and report any issues.
MLA RS Pura Gharu Ram Bhagat said that strengthening rural infrastructure is a top priority of the Government.
“Good roads are essential for rural development. We are committed to ensuring that development reaches the last person,” he said.
Among those present on the occasion were Sarpanch Omkar Singh, Lambardar Sarban Choudhary, Sonu Choudhary, Mittal Choudhary, Balvinder Choudhary, Pappu Choudhary, Vijay Kumari, Naib Sarpanch Roshan Bhagat, senior leader Hira Fauji, Joginder Bhagat, Surinder Bhagat, Vicku Bhagat, and Baba Singh.
