Ghagwal Police rescues 6 bovine animals

SAMBA, Dec 2: Ghagwal Police has rescued six bovine animals and arrested driver of the Mohindra 207 bearing registration number JK14 D/5295 in which these animals were being carried late last night to Punjab.
Police said during the routine checking late last night by a team of Ghagwal police led by SHO Police Station Ghagwal, Rakesh Sharma they stopped a Mahindra 207 which was on its way from Samba to Punjab and on the checking of the vehicle police found that it was carrying the bovines to Punjab.
The Police seized the vehicle and arrested the driver namely Mohammed Sharief son of Hussian Ali of Jogain tehsil and district Kathua.
The Ghagwal Police has also registered a case against him.
