JAMMU, Oct 25: Scripting convincing victories over their rivals in their respective summit clashes, GGM Science College and GCW Gandhi Nagar lifted the title trophies of the Basketball (Men & Women) tournament of Cluster University of Jammu at MA Stadium, here.
The tournament was organised by the Department of Dean Students Welfare Cluster University of Jammu.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Sports Coordinator, Cluster University of Jammu and Physical Director GGM Science College graced the occasion.
In Women’s section, GCW Gandhi Nagar defeated Govt MAM College by 20-15 and emerged as the champion.
In Men’s section, GGM Science College beat SPMR College of Commerce by 35-07 to lift the trophy.
Aijaz Malik, Physical Director SPMR College of Commerce, Dr Mandeep Singh, Physical Director Govt. College of Education, Dr Roopali Salathia, Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu, Smt. Neelam Chalotra, Assistant Physical Director, MAM College, Pawan Giri, Assistant Physical Director GGM Science College and Anil Kumar, Assistant Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar Jammu were present on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by Gaurav Choudhary, Jaskirat Singh, Hrithik Khullar and Amanjot Singh.
