KATHUA, Apr 14: PCC co-treasurer Rajnish Sharma has alleged that many genuine BPL families have been left out by the CAPD authorities while preparing BPL category lists in Bani and Duggan blocks.
During review meeting of Block Congress held at Bani today, Rajnish Sharma (Mian) listened to the issues of the people. The speakers highlighted the hardships being faced by the BPL category people due to non issuance of BPL ration cards by concerned authorities.
The Congress leader alleged that many BPL category families have been left out by the Govt and sought the intervention of CAPD Minister in this regard.
He also demanded that a fresh survey be conducted in the area so that genuine people do not suffer.
The people also requested Rajnish Sharma to ensure that the concerned authorities take necessary action to improve the condition of the existing roads and the power supply in Bani area.
