KATHUA, July 3: In a bizarre incident, private parts of a man were chopped off forcibly by transgender community members here.
The victim identified as Kamal Kumar, 26, resident of Phallain Mandal in Jammu he has been admitted in GMC Kathua.
Kumar informed that he was called by a transgender group of Jumroo Mai, resident of Ward number 10, Kathua on Monday and two youths-Suraj and Gagan made him unconscious when he was moving in a car and took him to Jallandhar in Punjab where he was forcibly operated and his genitals were cut in an unknown house and then he was then thrown away at Ramlila Ground in Kathua from where he was immediately rushed to Police Station Kathua where he narrated the entire episode to SHO Kathua, Inspector Ajay Chib and after that cops shifted the victim to GMC Kathua.
Victim’s family has demanded stern action against the culprits behind the crime.
Police has registered a case in FIR No. 202 under Section 118, 142, 3/5 BNS Act and started investigation.
A Police team has also been deputed to Jallandhar to nab the accused.
