JAMMU, Feb 11: The Shopkeeper Association of Multi-Tier Parking, General Bus Stand Jammu today met Lieutenant Governor of J&K and raised demands.
These demands were providing space to these shopkeepers in front of the New Bus Stand till the Bus Stand becomes fully functional so that they can earn their livelihood.
Other demands were making the General Bus Fully Functional like other States, boarding and de-boarding of buses should be done inside the Bus Stand and compensation should be given to the shopkeepers till the Bus Stand becomes fully functional.
Their more demands included waiving off of the monthly rent till the Bus Stand becomes fully functional and waiving off of the electricity bills of the shopkeepers for one and a half year which they got after the inauguration of the General Bus Stand on July 2022.
