Gear up for elections, ruling alliance miserably failed: Taj

SRINAGAR, May 14: Emphasizing people to gear up for elections, senior Congress leader and  former Minister Taj Mohi- u- Din today said the ruling dispensation (PDP-BJP) has miserably failed to govern and deliver to the public.
Addressing series of public meetings in various places in Uri Assembly segment, Taj  described the ruling dispensation as a complete failure, saying that the unnatural alliance between PDP-BJP has crossed all limits of failure & discrimination.
Despite heavy rains, people of Chotali, Thajal and Naganari attended the public meetings in thousands and complaining about the indifferent attitude of the Govt and sought an end to the hardships confronting them due to the step-motherly attitude of the PDP- BJP coalition.
Congress leader lashed out at ruling dispensation of PDP- BJP for the current crisis in the State, besides hardships people were facing due to the lackadaisical attitude of the ruling dispensation. He said the  developmental scenario started by successive UPA Govt’s have come to standstill. Corruption, favoritisms and nepotism have become the hallmark of the ruling dispensation, even the people were being made to pay for construction of toilets constructed under the scheme so called Swach Bharat Mission (SBM), dilapidated condition of roads, lack of basic amenities including non- availability of essentials have added miseries to people living in far flung places, he said.
Expressing serious concern over the failures of the Govt, Taj said that this Govt is going to fall shortly because of anti-people and wrong policies adopted by them and emphasized people to gear up for elections and ensure that PDP- BJP combination is defeated. He said it is the Congress  alone which has served the people best and it will continue to represent urges and aspirations of the people.
Taj said  unnatural alliance between PDP and BJP will continue to remain main source behind disillusionment and anguish among the people. He further said that administration is bias towards the people, rising unemployment, lack of basic facilities, step-motherly attitude of ruling dispensation, discrimination with the people has added to the woes of people.
