JAMMU, Nov 14: Government Degree College for Women (GDCW) Kathua, organized a guest lecture on “Opportunities in Media” under the supervision of Principal of the College, Dr Savi Behl.
Resource persons Sandeep Singh and Manuj Kesar briefed students on emerging media trends and career prospects. Dr Savi Behl appreciated the initiative, calling media “a dynamic field full of opportunities.”
Dr Inderjeet Kour (HoD Chemistry) stressed the need for media literacy while Prof Rachna, in her address, said that media awareness has become an essential part of modern education and urged students to stay updated with evolving media technologies. Dr Mukesh Kumari highlighted the growing importance of Hindi in print and digital media.
The event was attended by Dr Amita Dua, Dr Renu, Dr Kamini, Dr Gopal Sharma, Prof Ram Murti, Prof Vibha and Dr Jyoti. The session concluded with an interactive discussion involving enthusiastic student participation.
