JAMMU, Sept 16: A team from Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust (GDCT), led by its Chairman, Arshad Ali Choudhary here today visited Dansal Block to express solidarity with the families affected by the recent devastating flash floods and landslides.
The visiting team included prominent Gurjar leader Bharat Bhushan from Chandigarh, Manoj, general secretary GDCT, Mohammad Sadiq Azad, senior trustee, Ch. Shouket Javed, Aslam Khan, Ghulam Rasool, Khursheed ul Islam, Ch. Mohammad Amin and other members of the Trust.
As part of this humanitarian initiative, the team distributed blankets and essential food items among 30 flood-hit families, irrespective of caste, creed or religion, demonstrating GDCT’s commitment to compassion and community service.
A handout stated that GDCT gratefully acknowledged a donation of Rs. 50,000 from Akhil Bhartiya Gurjar Veer Adhivakta Parishad through Adv. Bharat Bhushan, as well as valuable contributions of Trustees and well-wishers who came forward for this noble cause.
