KATHUA, May 30: Department of Economics, Government Degree College (Boys) Kathua organized one day online webinar on “Blended Teaching with Moodle LMS” in collaboration with Virtuality India.
Webinar started with the welcome address by Neha Bandral, Head, Department of Economics, GDC Kathua.
Akshit Aggarwal Project Coordinator Virtuality India and Consultant Virtual Labs IIT, Delhi was the main keynote speaker. He delivered a lecture on application of Moodle LMS for making online teaching more effective and interactive.
The whole webinar was like interactive session between keynote speaker, students and faculty members of GDC Kathua and from other colleges.
Webinar was organized to equip the faculty members with necessary requirement suggested in concept for blended mode of teaching and learning drafted by UGC, MoE Government of India.
Dr. Bhagwati Verma, Coordinator Virtuality India, Jammu and Kashmir attended the programme via online mode.
Faculty members of GDC Kathua Prof Jasvinder Singh, Prof Rakesh Singh, Dr Deepshika Sharma, Dr Renu Bala, Prof Manmohan Singh, Prof Kamaljeet, Dr Kamini, Prof Ritu Sharma, Dr Rachna Raj, Prof Reetika, Prof Ramkishan and Dr Pinkey from GDC Billawar, Prof Tishu from GCW Parade attended the programme.
A total of 80 participants joined the webinar.
Webinar concluded with vote of thanks by Neha Bandral, Webinar Organiser and HOD, Economics.
The webinar was organized under the guidance of Principal GDC Kathua Prof Assa Ram Sharma.
