GDC Dharmari holds week long plantation drive

DHARMARI, Aug 31: To celebrate 65th Van Mahatsava a week long plantation drive was carried out at Government Degree College, Dharmari in the premises of ITI, Dharmari by the Principal, staff and the students.
The inaugural speech of this drive the Principal of the college, Dr Tilik Raj Sharma impressed upon the importance of trees for the sustenance of mankind.
A lot of enthusiasm was displayed by the students during this drive. At the outset a total of about 50 saplings were planted during this initial drive. It was also resolved by the students and staff that a similar drive at a larger scale shall be carried out in the near future at the new college constructions cite.
The plantation drive was under active contribution of Dr Chander Mohan, Assistant Prof. GDC Dharmari.
