JAMMU, Aug 25: Govt College of Education today marked a significant milestone with the release of its newsletter, “Shiksha Visharad,” in Hindi.
The newsletter was unveiled during an event graced by the presence of Padma Shri Jitendra Udhampuri, a distinguished figure and alumni of the College.
Principal GCOE Professor Aekta Gupta, who led the launch of the newsletter, expressed her elation and stated: “I am delighted to present the latest edition of our newsletter, ‘Shiksha Visharad.’ This publication reflects the dedication and hard work of our students and teachers, showcasing their achievements, talents, and contributions to the academic and co-curricular life of our institution.”
She further said that the release of this newsletter was a momentous occasion for them , as it enables them to celebrate their accomplishments and share their journey with a wider audience.
The event was attended by eminent college alumni Madhavi, Nirmal Mahana, Rohini Aima and others. The student editors Monali, Komal and Mehak Khajuria used their creative talent to design the magazine with Editors of the Newsletter Prof Satish Sharma, Prof Tahira , Prof Shalini Rana, Prof Seema, Dr Shubhra and Prof Shapia.
