JAMMU, Feb 13: A delegation of Gujjar-Bakarwal Employees Association (GBEA) J&K led by the Association chairman, Ch. Mohd Asad Nomani here today met the Minister for Agriculture Production, Rural Development Department and Panchayati Raj, Javeed Ahmad Dar and submitted a memorandum highlighting the long-pending issues of Gujjar-Bakarwal employees of J&K.
The delegation apprised the Minister of various service-related and welfare concerns affecting the employees belonging to Gujjar-Bakarwal community.
The Minister assured that the genuine concerns would be examined thoroughly and addressed in due course of time. The delegation included Ch. Shafeeq Ahmad Chouhan, Ch. Khursheed Ahmad Poswal, Ch. Farooq Tanha, Ch. Mushtaq, Ch. Manan Kohli and other members of the Association.
