JAMMU, May 12: Police today arrested a gang rape accused, who was evading arrest since 2003 and again whom the Court had issued a warrant.
He has been identified as Jeet Raj son of Ram Saran, a resident of village Seora, Bishnah.
Officiating SSP Jammu Rajeshwar Singh had constituted a team for the arrest of Jeet Raj. Police cordoned off the house of the in-laws of accused at village Phinter in Bishnah and arrested him after hot chase.
Police parties headed by SDPO RS Pura Diwakar Singh and SHO Bishnah Deepak Pathania made the arrest of the gang rape accused.
