RAMBAN, Aug 3: A book titled ‘Yaad-e-Rafta'(Khud Navisht Swani Hayat) written by a popular academician of Ramban, Firdoos Ahmed Ganai, was released today.
The book was released by a noted academician and Urdu writer, octogenarian Abdul Khaliq.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest, Abdul Khaliq, recalled the days when Firdoos was his student in sixth class.
He remembered him as an efficient and good student.
Kahliq expressed his delight at releasing his book today and hoped that he would come out with more publications soon.
In his address, Firdoos said that this book, which is his first book written after his retirement as a Principal, Government High Secondary School, Chamalwas, has also fulfilled his promise to his colleagues on the day of his retirement that one day he would throw a party of his retirement, as those days were Ramadan days.
In the book, he recalled his challenging duty days in a COVID quarantine centre in Ramban.
