Ganai directs DC Kishtwar to ensure punctuality of officers

JAMMU, Feb 29: Advisor to Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai today said that an effective mechanism has been put in place to ensure  timely redressal of the problems being faced by people and in this regard necessary instructions have already been passed to the concerned.
The Advisor was interacting with various deputations from different parts of the State which called on him here today.  He said that concerted measures are being taken to ensure timely deliverance of the essential services and providing better amenities to the people of the State so that they don’t face any inconvenience.
He said that the officers of different departments have been directed to ensure that the people get requisite benefit from various initiatives and programmes being undertaken in the State and Central sector.
A delegation of All J&K Displaced Youth Forum led by B. L. Bhat projected several demands including  issuance of the teacher list of the PM employment package, release of relief and ration in view of the ensuing Maha Shivratri festival and also provision of  uninterrupted power and water supply to the migrant colonies.
The Advisor assured the deputationists that the issues would be taken up with the concerned for their early redressal.
Earlier, the Advisor while taking cognizance of the grievances of the deputations from Marwah area of Kishtwar District, directed the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar to ensure punctuality of the employees posted in different departments in the Marwah area.
He said that necessary mechanism should be put in place to ensure punctuality in these offices and take strict action against the absentees. He asked DDC to depute a senior level officer to the area to get first hand information about the issue.
