JAMMU, Feb 14: Galaxy Public School celebrated its 1st Annual Day with great zeal, here today.
Subash Chibber, Director Estates J&K graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Inderjeet, Director Agriculture Department and Principals of Carmel Convent School, Kunjwani Jammu, Sainik Public School, Jammu Public School, Happy Hours school and Aptech Montane School were the guests of honour.
The programme began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries.
The dignitaries were accorded a warm welcome by the Managing Director of School, Himanshu Sharma.
The Annual report was read by Jaspreet Kaur, Principal Galaxy Public School, Jammu, highlighting the achievements of the school in both academic and co-curricular activities. She also presented her vision for the progress of the school.
The students presented a variety of singing and dancing items on the occasion on the theme ‘The Indian ‘Legends’.
On the special eve the dignitaries released the school ‘ Spectrum’.
The chief guest gave the prizes to the meritorious students of the school.
The chief guest in his speech lauded the efforts of Principal, staff & students.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Sumriti.
The programme ended with the presentation of National Anthem.
