KISHTWAR, Nov 1: The youth who have become idle after the closure of work on Rattle Hydel Power Project by the concerned company in a meeting here today demanded that the Government should address their problem.
The meeting which was chaired by the member of Civil Society Kishtwar and Congress leader Shamsher Singh Bhandari said that stopping of work on Rattle Power Project has rendered hundreds of youth idle and if immediate steps are not taken to rehabilitate them they will turn a frustrated lot and can play as a tool in the hands of vested elements.
Mr Bhandari said that Government which is claiming that it will link itself to the aspirations of the youth should on first priority take steps to absorb these youth and fulfill their aspirations.
