JAMMU, Jan 9: A 29-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide today in Vikas Nagar area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Pritam Kotwal son of Rishi Kotwal, resident of Bhaderwah at present Vikas Nagar area falling under the jurisdiction of police post Sarwal,” a police official said, adding the deceased youth was frustrated over not getting employment.
He said body of the deceased was found hanging this morning at his residence. “After postmortem, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites,” he further said, adding inquest proceedings in this connection was initiated at police station Bakshi Nagar.
