JAMMU, Jan 23: On the occasion of Basant Panchami and birthday of Netaji Subash Chander Bose, a free medical camp was organized at Deoli, Bishnah, which was inaugurated by Dr Rajeev Bhagat, MLA Bishnah constituency.
More than 300 patients were examined during the camp, where free medical consultations, medicines, and eye check-ups were provided.
The medical team included Dr Priyanka Sharma (SMO – General Medicine), Dheeraj Singh (Centre Head – Jammu), Romy Sharma from Fortis Escorts Hospital, Amritsar, along with specialists from Centre for Sight, Jammu, including Dr Deepikha (Eye Specialist), Ajay Kumar, and Harshit Singh Slathia.
The camp was organized by Narayan Seva Sansthan, led by Subhash Gupta (General Secretary) and Rakesh Sharma (Vice President), in collaboration with Fortis Escorts Hospital, Amritsar and Centre for Sight, Jammu.
The successful execution of the camp was supported by Kuldeep Raj Maandi (Numberdar), Sukhdev Singh Charak (Social Worker), Subhash Chander (social worker), Purushotam K Sharma (social activist), and Dheeraj Singh (Centre Head, Fortis Escorts Amritsar), whose collective efforts ensured smooth coordination and maximum community outreach.
