Free joint replacement consultation camp today

JAMMU, Oct 1: Rotary Club of Jammu City is organizing free joint replacement consultation camp tomorrow on the occasion of the 147th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi–Father of the Nation.
This was disclosed by Ravinder Kaul, President, Rotary Club of Jammu City during a press conference here today.
He stated that this camp is being organized for the people in association with Shalby Hospitals, a multi-specialty hospital from Ahmedabad and the management of Alexander Memorial School. The Camp will be held at Alexander Memorial School, Residency Road, tomorrow from 10 am to 3 pm, he added.
Ravinder said that on realizing that knee and hip problems are becoming very common these days in society, members of Rotary Club of Jammu City decided to hold this camp where patients from all sections of society will be given free consultancy regarding their problems related to joint replacement. Nidhan Diagnostics Jammu will also be holding free diabetes check-up at the camp, he stated.
“Esther William, Principal, Alexander Memorial School, Jammu has been kind enough to offer her school premises for holding this camp and pledged cooperation from all staff members of the school. Member students of Interact Club of Alexander School (an affiliate with Rotary Club of Jammu City) will be assisting the entire camp”, Kaul added.
Project Director Rtn Sanjeev Vaid informed that Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, J&K Legislative Assembly along with Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East have consented to inaugurate the camp.
Sandeepan Beri from Shalby Hospitals said that eminent doctors from Shalby Hospital, Ahmedabad will be the consultants in attendance. The doctors who have arrived here from Ahmedabad include eminent Orthopedicians Dr Bhanu Pratap Singh Saluja, Dr Dhananjay and Dr Uday Vyas.
Sandeepan Beri and Rajesh Pandey will be representing the management of Shalby Hospitals.
