
*J&K resources being plundered: Lal Singh

NAGRI (Kathua), Mar 29: JKPCC president, Tariq Hameed Karra has exhorted the farmers and youth to free the country from the clutches of pro-rich, pro-corporate and anti-farmer, anti- common people Modi- regime besides to safeguard their lands, jobs and natural resources.
Addressing a largely attended Kissan Sammelan/rally here today, JKPCC chief said that Modi Government is pro- rich, pro-corporate and it’s policies and programmes are anti-farmers, anti-poor and anti- common people, leading to unprecedented price hike of all commodities but now it’s under pressure of US and has accepted an anti-farmer, anti- people deal by US.
Karra said that common people have suffered the most under BJP regime of 12 years, which has worked for the big corporate friends these years and now the PM is compromised to save them and his colleagues and has surrendered before Donald Trump, compromising the dignity and sovereignty of 140 crore Indians.
He asked common people and youth to rise to oppose the wrong policies of Modi- Government and to free the nation from the rule of anti- farmers, anti- people BJP besides to safeguard their land jobs and natural resources post 2019, as Kathua, Samba, Jammu are worst sufferers. He pitched for getting Statehood back,which is a betrayal of centre with people of J&K.
Working president Raman Bhalla lashed out at Centre Government for betraying people of Jammu and Kashmir over statehood, which was promised several times by Prime Minister and Home Minister. He said that all people of J&K ate suffering a lot due to dual control system and lack of statehood. He referred to the sufferings of different sections of people right from unemployment, daily wagers flood affected people, farmers and others who are suffering due to lack of accountability in the present system.
Ch Lal Singh in his address strongly criticised the Modi Government for snatching the statehood, Dogra identity status and rights as a result the land,jobs and natural resources of J&K people are being looted by outsiders at the cost of locals.
The people of Kathua, Samba and Jammu have suffered the most and crime rate has increased and drug mafia has become very active spoiling our youth.
Several senior Congress leaders including JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Th Balbir Singh, Subash Gupta, Hari Singh Chib Shashi Sharma, Bharat Priye and others spoke on the occasion.
Earlier DCC President Kathua Pankaj Dogra welcomed the PCC president and other senior leaders on the occasion.
Senior leaders Dwarka Choudhary, Tarsem Singh Saini, Nirdosh Sharma, Iqbal Dar, Paramjit Singh, SP Bhandari, Yog Raj, Romy Sharma, Sanjay Razdan were also present on the occasion.
