JAMMU, Aug 23: Police have seized four tippers loaded with illegally mined material in separate actions across the district.
At Jhajjar Kotli, police intercepted and seized three dumpers bearing registration numbers JK14H-0035, JK19A-7465, and JK14G-1573. In another action, Pounichak Police Post detained a tipper (JK02CR-7318) engaged in illegal mining.
Officials said the District Mining Officers concerned were informed for further legal proceedings under relevant provisions of law.
