DODA, Apr 10: Four persons were injured today in the collision of a mini-bus and a Scorpio near Arvani on Batote-Doda road.
According to a police spokesperson, today at about 1.30 pm a Scorpio bearing registration number JK06-2465, which was on its way from Batote to Doda collided with a mini-bus number JK06-1536 coming from opposite direction near Arvani, as a result of which four persons sitting in the Scorpio got injured.
The injured identified as Hashim Din (driver) of Batyas (Doda) and Shahid Furqan son of Muneer Ahmed, Zahida Begum wife of Muneer Ahmed and Arifa daughter of Safdar Hussain, all residents of Gandoh, were shifted to Batote hospital where from they were later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
A case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and efforts were on to nab the accused mini-bus driver, who fled from the spot of crime.
