JAMMU, Mar 12: Police held four persons who were secretly burying body of a young man near Tawi bridge in the wee hours here today, under the jurisdiction of Peer Mitha Police Station.
The deceased, identified as Balvinder Singh (28), son of Ajit Singh of Ploura, had died under mysterious circumstances in the house of one of the arrested accused, Ishak Ahmad son of Mohd Anwar of Gujjar Nagar, late last night.
Identity of the other three arrested persons was established as Anjum Rashid son of Rashid Khan, Shaheeb Kapoor son of Sukinder Mohan Kapoor and Abdul Rouf son of Shakil Ahmad.
Police has shifted the body to GMC mortuary for the post mortem and initiated proceeding under Section 174 CrPC for further action.
