Four drug peddlers arrested with heroin

JAMMU, Aug 18: Miran Sahib and Bagh-e-Bahu Police arrested four drug peddlers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information a team from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Zaheer Mushtaq under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta established a naka at Brigade Road and intercepted a motorcycle bearing Registration Number JK02CB-7275 which was coming towards Miran Sahib.
During checking, police team recovered 15 grams heroin from the possession of the two persons riding on the motorcycle and arrested them.
The arrested persons were identified as Kaka Hussain, son of Sher Ali of Dhateryal Tehsil Marh District Jammu and Farid Ali, son of Salam Din of Galwaday Chak Tehsil Marh District Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 94/2022 under section 8/21/22 /29/60 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation started.
Meanwhile, a team from Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu led by SHO Inspector Sikander Singh and assisted by PSI Ahsin Khan under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafari laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CQ-2185.
During checking, police team recovered 10 grams heroin and arrested two persons, who were identified as Nizam Din alias Jamah, son of Kaku and Noor Alam alias Nuru, son of Amanat Ali, both residents of Ragoora District Jammu.
A case FIR Number 81/2022 under Section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at
Police Station Bagh-e-Bahu and investigation initiated.
