JAMMU, Mar 9: The 25th Foundation Day of Guru Nabha Dass Temple, Pacca Talab, Bahu Fort, Jammu was celebrated with great devotion and religious fervor here today.
The celebrations began in the morning with Havan and Satsang, followed by spiritual discourses and blessings by Sant Ganesh Nabha Ji Maharaj, who showered the nectar of saintly teachings upon the devotees. On this auspicious occasion, senior BJP leader, former minister and present MLA of Ramgarh Assembly constituency Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal, BJP J&K vice president Rajeev Charak, Shardha Devi Ex Corporator Ward No. 47, Sansar Kalotra (President, Guru Nabha Dass Samaj Kalyan Parishad) along with their team besides Joginder Paul (President, MSS Branch Bahu Fort) were present in the program.
The event was organized by the Temple Committee, Pacca Talab, Bahu Fort, Jammu, with active contributions from Harish Balgotra,. Ajeet Raj, Sahil Kumar, Kiran Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Ashwani Rajwal, Narayan Balgotra, Deep Kumar, Kishore Kumar and Rahul Balgotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajeev Charak appreciated the dedication and service of the temple committee towards society and religion. He said that for the last 25 years, the committee has been organizing such religious events on the occasion of Guru Prakash Utsav, spreading the message of faith and unity in society.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Devinder Manyal said that the efforts of social leaders and members of the community are giving new direction to unity, service and religious faith in society. He congratulated the organizers for their noble work and urged the community to encourage youth towards education, so that more children become doctors, engineers and IAS officers, bringing pride to the society.
A large number of devotees and prominent members of the society attended the event and resolved to follow the teachings of Guru Nabha Dass Ji.
