JAMMU, Mar 12: On World Kidney Day, Fortis Hospital, Gurugram and Helping Hands, Jammu organised a function and stated that dialysis technicians are rendering invaluable services to patient care.
The function was held to recognize the efforts of dialysis technicians in ensuring the well-being of patients with kidney-related ailments.
The guest of honour for the event was Dr. Dara Singh, Medical Superintendent SMGS Hospital, Jammu while Dr. Harbaksh Singh, Chief Medical Officer, Jammu; Dr. Ghanshyam Dev, Former Principal and Dean, Government Medical College Jammu and Associated Hospitals and Dr. Ravinder Singh Ghai, Associate Professor and Head of Urology, ASCOMS, Sidhra were also present on the occasion.
The event focused on raising awareness about kidney disease prevention and the significance of early detection.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Gagandeep Chhabra, Director Nephrology at Fortis Hospital, Gurugram stated, “Dialysis technicians play a critical role in the management and treatment of patients with kidney diseases.”
The event also featured awareness sessions on kidney health, preventive measures and lifestyle choices that can help reduce the risk of kidney diseases.
