JAMMU, Apr 5: A free heart check-up camp was held here today at Gurdwara Bala Pritam Ji by Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Delhi.
The camp was inaugurated by the office bearers of District Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee Jammu, Halqa Nanak Nagar.
The camp was led by Dr. Swati Mahajan, Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute.
During the camp, over 75 patients were screened for various heart-related ailments.
As part of the initiative, patients were provided free medical consultation along with ECG testing, blood pressure check-ups and free medicines.
The initiative received an overwhelming response from the local population, prominent citizens and members of the local community from Trikuta Nagar.
Attendees expressed appreciation for Dr. Swati Mahajan and her team for extending quality cardiac care services at no cost.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Swati Mahajan emphasized the importance of preventive healthcare and early diagnosis in reducing the burden of heart diseases. She reiterated Fortis Escorts Heart Institute’s commitment to community outreach and public health initiatives.
