RAMBAN, Aug 14: Former MLA, Ashok Kumar has expressed serious concern over frequent power cuts in rural areas of Ramban.
In a handout he said that BJP led LG administration has recently hiked power tariff but the public is still suffering due to frequent power cuts in scorching summers.
After a meeting with senior citizens of Sund Gali village of Ramban, Ashok stressed upon the LG administration to immediately restore the dilapidated road from Kan Teen Nallah to Sund Gali. He said that the road needs blacktopping and proper drainage on war footing.
He emphasized upon the LG administration to provide clean drinking water to every household of Sund Gali and Tartasoo in Ramban and claimed that people are suffering badly due to non-availability of clean water supply.
Kumar also expressed serious concern over non-availability of toilet facility for students, both boys and girls, in High School Sund Gali.
